Mokshananda Giri (1927–1982) was twenty-four years old when he entered the Self-Realization Fellowship Monastic Order on March 3, 1952 — just four days before Paramahansa Yogananda’s mahasamadhi. In the course of his thirty years of devoted service to the Guru’s work, he served as minister at several SRF temples. For many years he was also in charge of the overall administration of Self-Realization Fellowship centres and meditation groups worldwide, travelling widely to bring Paramahansaji’s teachings to thousands of truth-seekers.
