May 25, 2016

The recent drought in various parts of India has resulted in severe shortage of drinking water.
Following the ideal set forth by Paramahansa Yogananda to serve mankind as one’s larger Self, Yogoda Satsanga Society of India has undertaken relief service in some of the drought-hit areas.

YSS is supplying drinking water through tankers in various parts of Ranchi. This service has drawn much appreciation and gratitude from the people who are being benefited from the daily supply of water. Now they need not go far to fetch clean water.

YSS has also undertaken drought-relief service in the Anantapur district of Andhra Pradesh, which is one of the most drought-hit areas. Drinking water is being supplied to a village of 1,000 people through water tankers.
